What would a week on a humanitarian trip in Guatemala look like?

Experience hard work in one of the most beautiful places in the world while building friendships that last a lifetime – with the goal of forever changing the lives of others.

Ayuda.World delegates all liabilities and responsibility of the trip to Humanitarian Abroad LLC.

Summer 2024

We invite you to participate in Ayuda.World’s first humanitarian trip abroad to inspire our single mothers.

Ayuda World has experienced success beyond expectation while sponsoring the children’s schooling of our families. The kids are doing great at school, now it's time to help in the home. This summer we will be building farms to help support these single mothers. We will build the farm including chicken coops, farming and clean water processing. Mothers will be able to work on these farms and sell the eggs, vegetables and chickens to support their families.

We don’t promise it will be perfect, but we promise it will be an adventure that will change your life.

The Schedule

The trip for 2024 is scheduled for July 22-29.

Arrive in Guatemala City before 5pm. Have dinner in Guatemala City and after Caravan back to Panajachel while getting to know your team.

Tuesday & Thursday

Wake up for a hot breakfast and the morning devotional. Pack lunches and head over to our service project in Solola. Work Hard! Be prepared to sweat! We will head back to Panajachel for dinner and wind down with our nightly devotional.

Wednesday & Friday

Hot breakfast and morning devotional. Pack lunches and head out to our worksite. Today we will work until 3pm and then head back to Panajachel to explore more of the city we are living in. This evening we will walk through the markets where you will be able to buy souvenirs and experience the craftsmanship and art on display. We will all eat together at a selected restaurant before we head home for our nightly devotional.

If this week’s hard work wasn’t enough, now is the time to individually summit! We will wake up early to hike the Atitlan Volcano and get to the top to see the sunrise. After that we will come home to get some lunch and free time walking around the city and out to dinner. Saturday evening we will take the time to write down, share and retain principles we have learned this week.

Sunday is our last day in Panajachel. There are multiple options for church including catholic mass, services for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and others. We will spend the afternoon packing and preparing for the last devotional.

We will spend the day in Guatemala City making sure everyone gets to their flight and exploring.
